Our Chapter's Philanthropy
The Eta Chi Chapter is very involved with their philanthropy on and off campus. The Chapter holds many events and participates in many local community service ventures.
We host many events on campus including our signature pink lemonade stands and bake sales, known as Think Pink Drink Pinks.
We have also collaborate with the Patriot sports teams to host pink out games know as Passionately Pink where we hold raffles, a yogurt eating contest, multiple giveaways, and a huge Think Pink Drink Pink stand.
We sell pink roses, chocolate, and cards for Valentine's Day each year in which all proceeds go to Breast Cancer Education and Awareness. We also deliver roses and candy to the oncology ward at the local hospital.
Our newest fundraiser, Bras for the Cause was created to allow other organizations to participate in our philanthropy. Organizations purchase and decorate a bra and the winner is determined by the student body through voting with spare change.
Our biggest fundraiser for Breast Cancer awareness and education is our 5k race being held on April 9th, 2022. Proceeds benefit the Zeta Tau Alpha Foundation to support scholarships, educational programming, leadership development and our fight against breast cancer, which includes our partnerships with Bright Pink, the NFL, and the American Cancer Society.
